11. Baia do Sancho, Brazil
Baia do Sancho is located on the island Fernando de Noronha. You can only reach this amazing beach by boat or by narrow staircase from surrounding cliffs. If you are planning a trip to Brazil, make sure you visit Baia do Sancho. It is a terrestrial paradise. The place is secluded and almost untouched. Sparkling emerald water, coral reefs and the solitude of this place will take your breath away.
12. Tangalle Beach, Sri Lanka
Tangalle is one idyllic place. It is the furthest beach option on the Deep South Coast before the jungles of Yala take over. What is amazing about Tangalle is the color of the Indian Ocean. It is of the deepest blue and the whole scenery is spectacular. Tangalle consists of two beach landscapes. There is a series of sublime natural bays to the west. Whereas to the east of town are the long sandy beaches of Medaketiya and Medilla. They are best for sunbathing rather than sea swimming.
13. Praia Dona Ana, Portugal
Praia Dona Ana is probably the most picturesque beach in the Algarve region. Though surrounded by steep colorful strata cliffs, it catches all the day’s sun. Due to a color of the cliffs and the golden sand, this part of the coast is sometimes referred to as the Costa d’Ouro (or Golden coast). Praia Dona Ana is the best all-round beach in Lagos, but it can get very busy at the weekends. Despite that, the beach is stunning and is definitely worth your visit.
14. Zlatni Rat Beach, Croatia
Unlike the rest of Croatia’s coastline which is quite rocky, Zlatni Rat Beach boasts the soft sand and crystal clear waters of the Adriatic Sea. Read more here >>>
15. Kaputas Beach, Turkey
The southwestern coast of Turkey is home to some amazing beaches including the small sandy cove at Kaputas Beach. It lies 10 miles or so west of Kaş, at the outlet of a narrow valley and is surrounded by steep cliffs. The location of the beach and its rough terrain has prevented hotels or other infrastructure from springing up, giving the beach a serene and untouched feel.
