American astronaut Scott Kelly, along with his team, has been collecting photos from the International Space Station throughout the years.
The Internationals Space Station (ISS) orbits the Earth at an average speed 17,227 miles per hour. In the span of 24 hours it completes 16 orbits, with each one taking 93 minutes.
Thanks to the astronauts on-board we have the chance to enjoy the beauty of Earth straight from space. The photos give us the complete birds-eye-view perspective of our planet. These are breathtaking views, only few people have a privilege to experience.
The spacemen have been capturing everything from the beauty of Mexico City at night to dramatic weather events like typhoons and cyclones. They also captured incredible Mt. Kilimanjaro, the Bahamas, and spectacular Aurora Borealis.
