1. Hamilton Pool, Dripping Springs, Texas
Hamilton pool we see today is actually an underground river. Due to a massive erosion that happened thousands of years ago, the dome of the river collapsed. The result is more than amazing. It’s become one of the most beautiful natural pools in America.
2. Madison Blue Springs State Park, Florida
Crystal clear blue waters make this place absolutely magical. It is home to large marine mammals “Manatees“, also known as “sea cows”. In the period between November and March hundreds of manatees can be seen atop the springs.
3. Jacob’s Well, Wimberley, Texas
Jacob’s well is an underwater cave, some 30 feet deep. It is an attractive spot for all divers. You can either jump from the rock for some adrenaline rush, or simply stay on the safe in the shallow part of the pool.
4. Cummins Falls, Jackson County, Tennessee
What a better way to spend the weekend than cool down in the Cummins Falls. Feel the atmosphere of this place and become one with nature.
5. The Blue Hole, Santa Rosa, New Mexico
The Blue Hole is very popular among divers. It was once used as fish hatchery. Today it is a place where diver training takes place.
6. Lower Falls of Treman Park, Ithaca, NY
On the way to the Lower Falls, you will come across dozens of other falls. Since it’s impossible to access the falls in winter, use hot summer days to visit the place.
7. Havasu Falls, Arizona
Havasu Falls are located in the Grand Canyon, one of the natural wonders. Due to high calcium carbonate concentration, the water has the vivid blue-green color. It is possible to swim behind the falls and enjoy the spectacular view. It may take you some time to reach the falls, but it’s absolutely rewarding.
8. Sliding Rock, Ashville, North Carolina
Sliding rock is a natural water park. This is a perfect place to spend a day with your family. And if you bring your kids, you can be completely at ease. There are lifeguards who supervise the place constantly.

9. Turner Falls, Oklahoma
The falls were discovered by Mazeppa Thomas Turner, who settled this area in 1878. The site was eventually named for him. It is one of the most visited swimming holes in the USA today.
10. Johnson’s Shut-ins, Missouri
The shut-ins are small pools which are created by large volcanic rocks, blocking the river from further flow. It is a natural water park, where swimming is allowed only if the water is not so high.
