As a huge animal lover, I can only admire this guy for what he is doing. Allan Dixon is truly an animal whisperer. We remember him for his cute quokka selfie ever taken. It’s amazing to see how comfortable animals feel around him. Seems like he can befriend any creature he meets. Sometimes it takes more time than he expects to make a good shot. Animals can be very unpredictable. So, we can see him lying down in the dirt, trying to make his selfie buddy relaxed and calm. He waits till he gains their trust and “talk” them into posing with him. So far, Allan has taken selfies with over 30 animal species.
For anyone wishing to get the perfect photo, Dixon suggests they should turn off the flash and all camera sounds. That’s what scares them the most. “Once you’re in their presence for some time, they’ll usually come and check you out. There’s a fine line between curiosity and survival. The main aim is to make them know that they are safe being around you. Get up close as you can, but slowly”, says Dixon for RT.
