Photos of the cities before and during the pandemic are pretty shocking.
Ever tried taking a selfie in front of the Eiffel Tower or the Trevi fountain? It’s been almost impossible to do that. Today you could do it with no other human in the frame, but you could get arrested. Countries around the world have been either in complete lockdown or have been placed under curfew due to Covid 19 pandemic.
Many famous landmarks once bustling with tourists, are now so quiet and desolate. There is no a single person outside. And the few still walking around are people with masks on their faces. The world looks so different today. Empty streets and squares, highways with no cars, deserted airports are the new normal.
Images show world cities before and during the pandemic. This is what it looks like when the world pauses because of the coronavirus outbreak.
