Are you an adventurous spirit, trill seeker or adrenaline junkie? Been a while since you had your rush with excitement?
Want to see the places made for your adventurous soul? Our world is filled with amazing places for everyone’s taste: for the serenity seeking folks and for the wild people at heart.
Let us show you some of the best places in the world for your ultimate adrenaline satisfaction:
1. Let’s do some bungee jumping at the Macau Tower, China
When it comes to bungee jumping the trill seeking element does not come only from the free fall, but from the amazing scenery where you’re doing your “death jump”. Best bungee locations are those of natural origin surrounded by magnificent Mother Nature’s work of art. As an exception to this rule is Macau Tower – man made structure in China, which is also the second highest bungee jump spot. The tower itself has a height of astonishing 765 feet (233 meters), and a breathtaking scenery around as a free bonus. The terrifying jump also includes driving vehicles on the road as something to look at while jumping. If you are the daredevil for this jump, time to pack up your gear and book that flight to China.
2. Climbing Mount Everest Base Camp near Kathmandu, Nepal
Mount Everest is kind of a graduation medal for all of the adrenaline junkies out there. The first official expedition to reach the top of the mountain was done by Tenzing Norgay and Edmund Hillary in 1953, opening the way for all aspiring mountain climbers. Today, the trek towards the Mount Everest Base Camp is still one of the most popular adrenaline treks. Have in mind that this adventure requires serious physical training and planning, but that is minor compared to the amazing view from the Nepalese side, which is at an altitude of 17,598 ft. (5,364 m). Also, strong recommendation should be given to the Upper Mustang Trek, for the hard core thrill seekers.
3. Bulls Race – Pamplona, Spain
A combination of a national tradition and epic novel promotion with Ernest Hemingway’s novel The Sun Also Rises, the so called bull’s race is a yearly event from July 6 to July 14. The race starts somewhere between the Plaza del Ayuntamiento (City Hall Square) and the Education building in the Cuesta of Santo Domingo, where all participants should be on place before 7:30 am. As a symbolism for starting the race two rockets are being launched, upon which the bulls will charge behind the runners for 825 meters, the distance between the corral and the bullring. The overall race lasts for couple of minutes only. Have in mind that the race takes victims every year, so you’ve been warned accordingly.
4. Zip lining in Costa Rica
An adventure for the tropical location resorts which includes combination of series of cables and platforms at different heights that allow visitors to travel through the rain forest canopy and over rivers and water features safely. This is a unique experience that allows you to explore the jungles and animals of Costa Rica. Needless to mention it’s not a trill seeking experience for those with the fear of heights!
5. Surfing on the North Shore (Oahu, Hawaii)
North Shore is the place where thrill addicts can catch the most notorious ways, or explained in their lingo to catch a rhino or elephant ride. If surfing is your type of a challenge, make sure to catch the best time for the best waves – which is in winter. As a bonus – well, you are in Hawaii and everything there is heaven on Earth.
